uncoalesced
Independent logic, shared origin.
uncoalesced is an independent engineering collective and open-source architectural foundation building modular, decentralized, high-utility software systems. The premise: digital tools should be transparent and reciprocal, not locked corporate appliances or bloated silos tied to one platform.
how it works
The reciprocal community loop
Open source is often a one-way hand-off: one group ships binaries and everyone else consumes them. uncoalesced runs a two-way loop instead: the collective supplies the blueprint, the community subjects it to real-world friction, and the software that comes out the other side is harder than either could produce alone.

Current projects
Peridot
ShippedA sovereign, local-first AI inference kernel. No cloud dependency, no telemetry, and you decide how the model runs.
Impart
In testingAn encrypted panic button for Android. Alerts travel by SMS, with no server and no account behind them.
FluxBoard
BetaA customisable Android keyboard with a sticker library attached. Nothing you type leaves your phone.
Cordon
ShippedResource control for AI coding agents. It measures every tool call, then throttles heavy ones in their own cgroup instead of killing them.
Break it. Then make it better.
Every project here ships in the open, and it gets tougher every time someone stress-tests it. If that sounds like your kind of engineering, get involved.
